    3. Lava Hot Springs Foundation – Recommend approval
    Request for approval pursuant to Idaho Code §67-4402 for the lease on ground administered by the Foundation. The lease is for a plot of ground 30 x 60 feet. The term of the lease is for ten years with two additional five year extensions available at a flat rate of $2,000 per year adjusted every five years based on the Consumer Price Index.

    4. Office of the Attorney General
    a. Notification that Paul W. Madden of the firm of Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, LLP, in Baltimore, Maryland, has been appointed pursuant to Idaho Code §67-1409 as a Special Deputy Attorney General for the purpose of consultation, research, and advice on federal tax and regulatory issues related to plan qualification and compliance, as needed and when requested by PERSI.

    b. Notification that V. Rafael Stone of the firm of Foster Pepper, PLLC, in Seattle, Washington, has been appointed pursuant to Idaho Code §67-1409 as a Special Deputy Attorney General for the purpose of representation of PERSI in investment-related transactional matters that include, but are not limited to, PERSI’s private equity and private real estate investments.

    c. Notification that Jeffrey C. Parry of the firm of Jeffrey Parry Intellectual Property Law Group, PLLC, has been appointed pursuant to Idaho Code §67-1409 as a Special Deputy Attorney General for the purpose of filing an application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for a service mark for the Department’s iUS branded software.
