STATE BOARD OF EXAMINERS
MINUTES – June 20, 2017 – 8:55 a.m.

The regular meeting of the State Board of Examiners was called to order pursuant to Idaho Code §67-2002 and by the order of the chair at 8:57 a.m.
The following board members were present: Secretary of State Lawerence Denney, Attorney General Wasden was present by phone. State Controller Brandon Woolf recorded the proceedings of the meeting.
State Controller Woolf introduced the consent agenda items.
Attorney General Wasden moved to approve the consent agenda. Secretary Denney seconded the motion. The motion passed on a unanimous voice vote.

Response to release of WWTP chemicals at county transfer station. (KOOTENAI COUNTY)
Ratification of military contract for Contract NGBID-17-C-0013 for State of Idaho Military Division project: BLDG 713 Repair.
4. Department of Administration Div. of Public Works – Approved
a. Request for recognition of assignment from F & C Corporation to Boise Airport for the real property lease through the Idaho Department of Water Resources, for occupancy of 3201 Airport Way, Suite 1000, Boise, Idaho.
5. Department of Health and Welfare – Approved
b. Request for recognition of assignment from 3R Investments, LLC to Apartment, LLC for the real property lease through the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, for occupancy of 34 Wildcat Way, Suite A, Kellogg, Idaho.
Request that $191,109,500 be transferred from the General Fund to the Cooperative Welfare Fund #0220 during the 1st Quarter of Fiscal Year 2018 in accordance with appropriations passed.
6. Office of the Attorney General
a) Notification that Anthony M. Valdez of the firm of Valdez Law Office, PLLC, has been appointed pursuant to Idaho Code §67-1409 as a Special Deputy Attorney General for the purpose of representing the State of Idaho, Industrial Special Indemnity Fund, in the matter of Elmer Helsey.
7. State Insurance Fund
b) Notification that Paul J. Augustine of the firm of Augustine Law Offices, PLLC, has been appointed pursuant to Idaho Code §67-1409 for the purpose of representing the State of Idaho, Industrial Special Indemnity Fund, in the matter of John M. Lewis.
c) Notification that Matthew D. Manahan of the firm of Pierce Atwood, LLP in Portland, Maine, has been appointed as a Special Deputy Attorney General for the purpose of representing the State of Idaho, Department of Environmental Quality, in the filing of an amicus brief in the case of Maine v. Epa.

Attorney General Wasden moved to adjourn the meeting. Secretary Denney seconded the motion.
