1. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE
Request for authorization to issue additional deficiency warrant spending in the amount of $117,000 for the 1999 Grasshopper Control Program as follows:
Funding approved FY 99 (3-9-99) $ 49,000
Additional Funding Requested $117,000
Personnel Cost $ 15,000
Operating Expenses $102,000
Total to Date $166,000
2. DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND WELFARE
Request for authorization to remove the vacation caps for Jeri Bala and Linda Baird through the end of the current fiscal year (June 30, 2000). Jeri and Linda have been involved in the development and current implementation of the Family Oriented Community Users System (FOCUS) over the past four years. Significant vacation time cannot be granted until the project is fully implemented and operational statewide.
3. DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND GAME
Request for authorization for an extension of time period for reimbursing realtor fees for Paul Valcarce for three months, or until the closure date of his home sale, whichever comes first. The sale of Officer Valcarce's home is pending and the time period for reimbursement of allowable expenses expired June 30, 1999.
4. OFFICE OF ATTORNEY GENERAL
Secretary of State Pete T. Cenarrusa made a motion to recommend approval of the Consent Agenda. Governor Dirk Kempthorne seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Notification that Ted Berkowitz, of the firm of Farrell & Fritz, Uniondale, New York, has been appointed to represent the state In re Majestic Produce Corp., Case No. 199-10971-260, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of New York, pursuant to Idaho Code § 67-1409.
