With the implementation of the new Employee Self-Service application, our office has created a new type of security requestor for IPOPS. The User Profile Administrator also known as the UPA group has been designed for agencies to regulate whether employees will have access to self-service and if forms being designed for self-service should be internally routed within the agency prior to being sent to the Division of Payroll for processing. I will be setting up the new UPA groups as I receive the information from agencies. When the UPA is set up this group will also have view capabilities regarding current IPOPS users and their roles. Any user that is in the UPA group will have the authority to request changes, adds, or removals for IPOPS to the DSP Security Administrator. Each agency should have at least (2) UPA users. A list to establish your agency UPA's can be sent to dspsecurity@sco.idaho.gov. We would like to receive your list by Friday, May 20th.
With the new self-service structure in place, agencies will no longer be able to add, change, or remove CPO's within your agency. Any CPO change will need to be sent to the DSP Security Administrator. If you have any questions please feel free to contact our office at 334-2394.
Thanks,
