Subject:Automatic Deletion of all IPOPS Draft Documents

As a result of numerous requests from agencies, effective Friday, May 11, 2007, DSP will implement a new procedure to programmatically delete all IPOPS documents that are left in a status of "Draft" for more than thirty (30) days. This new process will compare the date the IPOPS document was last "saved" with the current (system) date, and if the current (system) date is equal to or greater than thirty (30) days after the date the document was last "saved", the document will be automatically deleted.

All IPOPS personnel, position control and payroll actions, employee self-service, and online enrollment applications in "draft" status will be automatically deleted with this new procedure.
