Subject:IPOPS Approval Cycle (SSN verification)

On May 11, 2009 DSP implemented an SCO internal change to the IPOPS approval cycle. Agencies should not see any changes to their internal IPOPS approval cycle except for the following two items.

1. The IPOPS group name DSA (Division of Statewide Payroll Accounting) will be changed to DPA. IPOPS statuses that included the DSA group in the title will now show the name DPA. [For example: Awaiting-DPA-Approval]

2. The Division of Statewide Payroll Accounting (DPA) will be approving all Appointment IPOPS actions. DPA will be the last approver on these actions and will have the ability to return them back to the originator for edits or disapprove it.
