Changes to Statewide Class Code Reports Effective July 31, 2008

Division of Human Resources has asked to modify the existing month-end reports listing Class Codes and the Employees assigned to the specific Class Code.

In the past, multiple reports with Class Code information were created during the month-end processing:

A-445125 Classified Class Code List Statewide
B-445125 Non-Classified Class Code List Statewide
E-445125 Alpha Class Code List Statewide

Agencies were able to view these reports via On-line Reporting (SysId = AUIS44M). In addition, IBIS ‘statewide reports’ were created for authorized agency personnel to retrieve this information (for their own agency or multiple agencies) on a more frequent basis.

The request from DHR was to combine the classified and non-classified class code information in one report in numeric order.

Beginning with July 2008 month-end (run date July 31, 2008) only two reports will be created. These new reports will be accessible via On-line Reporting, SysId = AUIS44M once the DSP month-end processing and balancing procedures are complete.

A-445125 Numeric Class Code List Statewide – Lists all class codes in numeric order (classified codes = 00001 through 09999 and 80000 through 89999) (non-classified codes = 10000 through 79999 and 90000 through 99999) and all employees assigned to the specific class code.

B-445125 Alpha Class Code List Statewide (previously known as E-445125) – Reports the same information above, but in class code description (title) order. Again, including all employees assigned (both classified and non-classified).

All employees that had access to the E-445125 report have been given access to both the A-445125 and B-445125 reports. Documentation has been updated in the DSP User Manual.

NOTE: As the ‘Maintain User’ for your agency, a periodic review of access given to others within your agency should be performed.

REMINDER: The agency ‘Maintain User’ does have the ability to grant user access to ‘agency specific’ payroll reports and they can delete user access (including those reports with statewide access). However, only DSP staff may grant statewide access to a payroll report.
To request statewide access, send an e-mail to the DSP helpdesk with the employee’s name and report name (or number). For confidential reasons, not all payroll reports are available to be requested statewide. The A-445125 and B-445125 reports are an example of a statewide report available to all agencies.

If you have any questions regarding this correspondence, please contact the DSP Helpdesk at 334-2394
