Effective August 5th:
The Payroll Remarks, the Benefit Adjustment, and the Employee Deduction Adjustment form will no longer require an agency authorization signature. These actions will route directly to DSP for processing once completed by the agency originator.
In addition, a web view (On-line Enrollment) has been created and will allow agency staff to view and track the dates and plans that their employees have coded via the on-line Medical and Dental Enrollment application. A more robust view which will allow sorting and search capabilities is being worked on. You will be notified when that view is ready for implementation.
Effective September 2nd:
The Office of Group Insurance (OGI) will begin to process all medical and dental adjustments. Effective September 2nd, agencies will no longer have the capability to do the health and dental adjustments. (All existing adjustments in future status at that time will still be processed). Agencies will still have the ability to view and track any adjustments OGI has created. OGI will start their adjustment process on payroll paid September 23rd. Only employer adjustments will be processed for this payroll. OGI will make every attempt to process employee adjustments on pay periods that group insurance premiums are not taken (first pay period of the month).
