Subject:Distribution of Garnishment Warrants and Manual Checks

Garnishment Warrants (Checks) and Manual Checks will continue to be sent to the agency for distribution.

Note: Currently, garnished employees are not allowed to participate in Direct Deposit. When the garnishment process has been automated, these employees will no longer be exempted from the Mandatory Direct Deposit Policy and will receive their net pay through Direct Deposit. At that time, any employee who is exempted from the Policy will begin receiving their net pay warrant (check) through the mail along with the other regular paper warrants (checks).
