The following are new change reasons that have been requested by multiple agencies and will now be available on IPOPS for your use as of Tuesday, August 29, 2006. All documentation has been updated in the DSP User Manual. For questions regarding policies and procedures on the use of these codes please contact your DHR and/or DFM representative.

EA – Salary Equity Adjustment Increase (Internal)
    • A salary increase based on factors associated with an internal work/salary study; granted to an employee when the appointing authority believes it is in the best interest of the department. May be a result of compression issues. (Classified) Requires current evaluation with rating equal to ‘Achieves’ or better. Distribution must be based on merit.

MI – Salary Equity Adjustment Increase (External)
    • A salary increase based on factors from a market study approved by DHR (outside of Idaho state government) of the employee’s assigned duties; granted to an employee when the appointing authority believes it is in the best interest of the department. (Classified) Requires current evaluation with rating equal to ‘Achieves’ or better. Distribution must be based on merit.
