Senate Bill 1230 directs DFM, LSO, and SCO to coordinate the identification of an appropriate bi-weekly payroll to process the 27th pay period. The payroll paid on December 16, 2005 has been identified as the 27th pay period. This payroll will process as usual with the regular coding of time sheets. Agencies will not need to make any changes in IPOPS to accommodate this payroll.

A previous memo dated April 18, 2005, contains the specific details of how the 27th pay period will be implemented and processed. A copy of this memo can be found on the Division of Statewide Payroll web site under e-mail archives.

Note:
DFM requests that NO payoffs of comp time and/or EAL, nor bonuses be processed on the December 16 pay date, thus keeping the true costs of the 27th pay period intact.
