Subject:Change in Security Mailer Process - Effective Tuesday, December 23, 2008
Sent Date:12/17/2008

Currently, the SCO Security Mailers are being created for those employees newly hired by your agency. Previous agency employees being rehired are expected to remember their logon and password from their prior employment with your agency. If the rehired employee did not remember this information, they would then be required to take the additional steps necessary to get a temporary password from the SCO Helpdesk.

In a effort to give these rehired employees the same customer service provided to new hires, beginning December 23, 2008, a new SCO Security Mailer will be created once the IPOPS rehire action has posted.

As in the past, the SCO Security Mailers can be identified by the words 'Secure Information Enclosed' printed above the employee's name and address. Please remember that the Security Mailers contain the employee's logon and password information that is required when accessing any SCO web applications. During this time of year, it is important to get the Security Mailer to the employee as soon as possible, as they may wish to utilize additional self-service applications such as 'On-line W-2's', 'On-line Pay Stubs', and other 'Employee Self-Service' functions.

If you have any questions regarding this change please call or e-mail our DSP Help Desk at 334-2394 or dsphelp@sco.idaho.gov
