State Controller Donna Jones Appoints Dan Goicoechea Chief of Staff
Boise, Idaho – Idaho State Controller Donna Jones appointed Dan Goicoechea as her new Chief of Staff. Mr. Goicoechea, a veteran of public administration, will take the reins from Brad Hoaglun, who left the agency to serve as Communications Director for United States Senator Jim Risch.
“In addition to his new responsibilities as the #2 at our agency, as a cost-cutting measure, Dan will at least temporarily continue to serve as Division Administrator over our Computer Services Center,” said State Controller Donna Jones.
“Dan is an exceptionally experienced public servant. He is committed to making government open, transparent, and more efficient. We are fortunate to have him as a member on our team.”
