State Controller’s Office Recognized for
12th Consecutive Year of Excellence in Financial Reporting
Boise, Idaho – For the twelfth consecutive year, the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada awarded its esteemed Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to Idaho State Controller Donna Jones.
“Idaho’s books are open for citizen review. This award affirms our commitment to full disclosure of state government finances,” said Idaho State Controller Donna Jones. “Through our award-winning Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, and our other publications, we are providing citizens with unfettered access to the state’s financial records.”
The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada, a nonprofit and non-partisan professional association, serves approximately 16,000 government finance professionals in the United States and Canada.
Copies of Idaho’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports, as well as non-technical financial data in the Citizens’ Guide, can be downloaded free of charge from State Controller Jones’ website at http://www.sco.idaho.gov. The Legislative Handbook, a directory of Idaho’s highest paid state employees, is also available online.
