Bob Hough to Lead Idaho State Controller’s Technical Services Bureau

Boise, Idaho – Idaho State Controller Donna Jones announced today the appointment of Bob Hough, a 38 year veteran of mainframe computing, open systems, and application development, to head the Controller’s Technical Services Bureau. Hough will oversee operations for the state of Idaho’s largest mainframe computer, and play a pivotal role in providing customer service to the state agencies that utilize the Office of the State Controller for technical services.

“Before joining our office, Bob worked eight years with the Department of Labor, and 30 years with Boise Cascade, where he distinguished himself as one of Idaho’s top IT professionals,” said Jones. “He brings a wealth of experience to the job, and we’re lucky to have him.”

“While I left a top-notch team at the Department of Labor, I’m honored to have this opportunity to work with Controller Jones and to continue serving the people of Idaho” said Hough.
