Employment Verifications

Effective January 30, 2023 the State of Idaho has begun using Experian Employer Services for all income and employment verifications for both current and former employees.

If you are a Commercial Verifier:

Go to www.experianverify.com to submit your Verification Request or to Register and submit online.
The employer is: State of Idaho

Note: Experian only has income information up to the June 23, 2023 pay date but verifications must still process through them.

If your request is income driven and you need an updated YTD, please reach out to Experian to request an update to the report you received. Your request will be processed and your report will be updated, typically within a few hours of the request being made.

If you are a government or social service verifier:

Please submit your request online free of charge at www.experianverify.com.  You can also send your request by email to verify@experian.com or fax to 404-829-1336.

For verbal verifications:

Please refer to the State's transparency database, Transparent.Idaho.Gov. This database is updated nightly.

You can search our workforce by entering an employee's name as 'LastName, FirstName' into the search bar on the main page, and then select the employee from the populated dropdown or press enter and select their name on the next page. Scroll down and use the side scroller at the bottom this page to see the "Status" column.

Note: Active employees will show their title and terminated employees will show "Former Employee" after their names within the drop down that appears.

There is a "Separation * Date" column on the query that returns, this date updates nightly and should be ignored if the "Status" column shows "Current"

If wage information is needed:

A copy of the employee signed authorization is required.  You will be prompted during the request process to upload or fax the authorization form to Experian Employer Services.
