Position Reactivation

Purpose: Use the Position Control Reactivate action when a position in a Deleted status needs to be reactivated.
If the Position Control Number (PCN) has an invalid class code, the following message will be displayed.  The action cannot be completed until a valid class code is selected.  If the incoming class code is valid, the class code field cannot be updated. 
 


 
When reactivating a position, the distribution information area will be pre-filled with the same distribution types and percentages.  The Budgeted Salary, Budgeted Benefits and Budgeted Hours fields are required.
 
All sub-forms on the Position Control Reactivate action will be displayed. The Effective Date is required and must be a pay period begin date.  Click the drop-down list and choose from a total of 16 (sixteen) pay period begin dates. This includes the three most recent pay period begin dates that have already been processed, the first one that has not been processed and twelve pay period begin dates in the future.
 


Note:  Only Group Positions (NG) can have zero (0) in the Budgeted Hours field.
