Purpose: This action allows an agency to layoff an employee due to agency reorganization or a shortage of work.

• Limited service employees can also be terminated with this change reason

The effective date on the action should be the last date the employee enters hours.

 Note:  A time sheet must be submitted when:

• The employee is Time Sheet Required = 'N', and
• The effective date is later than the current pay period begin date.
