Time Sheet Required N - Generated Hours

When an employee's Time Sheet Required field is marked 'N' (Not Required) on their employee record, 80 hours will be automatically generated for these employees.  If an employee is marked Time Sheet Required 'Y', all hours must be coded every pay period in order for the employee to be paid.

Eligible Employees: Employees must be full time (Work Type = FS, FTE = 1.00, Pay Period Hours = 80).

Time sheets should be submitted (including all pay period hours) when the following circumstances occur:

  • Leave is taken by employee (Example: sick, vacation)
  • Employee works overtime (only if applicable, see FLSA for overtime eligibility information)
  • Termination is processed with an effective date within the current pay period
  • Military Inactivation is processed with an effective date within the current pay period
  • IPOPS Personnel Change in the current pay period, with an effective date greater than the pay period begin date (Example: PCN change, rate change, etc).
