IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Unless the default settings have been changed, most browser applications store frequently visited site information (cache), and cookies for faster access. This caching may cause problems with accessing or logging into the website.
If access or ability to change the cache or cookie settings is blocked or unavailable, please contact your agency IT/Security staff for support with performing these instructions.
If problems persist, attempt to login using a different browser or workstation. If either of these solutions are unsuccessful you may need to contact your agency IT support staff for assistance with workstation or browser software settings.

Google Chrome
Clear Cache and Cookies
1. Select the More icon (3 vertical dots) located in the upper right hand corner of the browser.a. Select More Tools from the drop down menu.
b. Select Clear Browsing Data… from the sub menu.

2. The Clear browsing data window will populate. Click the Time Range drop down menu, select All Time.
3. Make sure all options are checked before selecting the Clear data button.
Manage Cookie Settings
1. Select the More icon (3 vertical dots) located in the upper right hand corner of the browser.2. Click on Settings to open the Chrome Settings tab.3. Scroll to the bottom of the listed settings options and select Advanced. - This option appears at the very bottom of the settings tab, see below image for reference.

4. Select Site Settings from the list of advanced settings options under Privacy and security.

5. Select Cookies from the Permissions list.
6. Make sure the following are true: a. Allow Sites to save and read cookie data (recommended) – This should be active x b. Keep local data only until you quit your browser – This should be active c. Block third-party cookies – This should NOT be active7. Close and reopen Chrome before attempting to log in again.
Firefox
Clear Cache and Cookies
1. Click on the Open Menu button (3 horizontal lines) in the top right hand corner and choose Options.
2. Select Privacy & Security from the left hand navigation pane.
3. Scroll down to Cookies and Site Data and select Clear Data…
4. On the Clear Data window, make sure everything is checked and click Clear.
a. Select Clear Now on the confirmation window.
Clear History
1. Click on the Library button (books icon) in the top right hand corner.
2. Scroll down to select Clear History… 3. Select Everything from the Time range to clear drop down menu.
4. Check every box under History.
5. Click on the Clear Now button.
6. Close and reopen Firefox before attempting to login again.

Microsoft Edge (Old)
Clear Cache and Cookies
1. Click on the Settings and More button (3 dots) in the top right hand corner and select Settings.2. Under the Clear Browsing Data section, click on the Choose what to clear button.
3. The first 4 items should already be checked. You can check more or all but these 4 will work. Click on the Clear Button.
4. The settings panel will display an ‘All Clear!’ message. x
5. Close and reopen Microsoft Edge before attempting to login again.

Microsoft Edge (New)
Clear Browsing Data, Cache and Cookies
1. Open up the Settings and More drop-down menu by clicking the ellipses (...) in the upper right-hand corner.

2. Click on Settings.
3. From the main settings page, click on Privacy and Services on the left Settings navigation bar.

4. Under the Clear Browsing Data section, click on Choose what to clear.

5. Leave what is checked by default. Click on the Clear Now button. Once finished, the window will close.
6. Under the Clear Browsing Data for Internet Explorer section, click on the Choose what to clear button.

7. Leave what is checked by default. Click on the Delete button. Once finished, the window will close.
8. Close and reopen Microsoft Edge.
Clear the Cache and History
1. Click on the Safari drop down menu in the top left hand corner and select Preferences.2. Select the Advanced Tab (gear icon). a. Make sure the Show Develop Menu in menu bar box is checked. b. Close the preferences window. 3. Select the Develop drop down menu on the top bar and select Empty Caches.

4. Click on the History drop down menu and select Clear History….
5. Close and reopen Safari before attempting to login again.

Internet Explorer
Clear Cache and Cookies
1. Select the Tools icon (Gear) located in the upper right hand corner of the browser, then select Internet Options from the drop down menu.
2. Internet Options will open to the General tab. Browsing history, cache settings and cookie handling is managed from this tab. Perform the following:
a. In the Browsing history section, select the Delete… button (right hand side next to settings)
b. Check all boxes in the Delete Browsing History window except for the very top option labeled ‘Preserve Favorites website data’
c. Select Delete.
d. In the Browsing history section, select the Settings button (right hand side next to delete).
e. Select the top bubble in the Website Data Settings window, under the Temporary Internet Files tab labeled ‘Every time I visit the webpage’.
f. Select OK.

Manage Trusted Sites Settings
1. Select the Tools icon (Gear), located in the upper right hand corner of the browser.
2. Select Internet Options from the drop down menu (second option from the bottom).
3. The Internet Options window will populate. Navigate to the Security tab, then select Trusted Sites.
4. Select the Sites button.
5. In the ‘Add this website to the zone:’ field, enter *.idaho.gov
a. Select the Add button.
b. Select Close.
Manage Cookie and Pop-up Blocker Settings
1. Select the Tools icon (Gear), located in the upper right hand corner of the browser.
2. Select Internet Options from the drop down menu (second option from the bottom).
3. Navigate to the Privacy tab, then select Advanced to access the Advanced Privacy Settings.
a. Verify that First Party Cookies and Third Party Cookies are both set to Accept.
b. The box labelled Always Allow Session Cookies should be checked.
c. Select OK to return to the Privacy tab.
d. Turn off Pop-up Blocker by unchecking the box in the Pop-up Blocker section.

4. Once the settings are verified, select Apply on the bottom right hand side of the Internet Options window before selecting OK to exit Internet Options.
Manage Compatibility View Settings
1. To disable compatibility mode, select the Tools icon (Gear) located in the upper right hand corner of the browser; then select Compatibility View Settings.
2. Remove any websites listed in the Websites you’ve added to Compatibility View field:
a. Select a listed website to highlight it.
b. Click on the remove button to remove it from the compatibility view list.
3. Uncheck the box next to Display intranet sites in Compatibility View.
4. Once completed, close and reopen Internet Explorer for the setting changes to take effect.
