Surplus Property Statuses and Retention of Documents

 

Status​Definition
Director Approved ​Director has approved the Disposal Authorization Request. Request has been sent to SCO for retention. The Surplus Property Administrator will receive an email when the document changes to this status.
​Director Disapproved ​Director has not approved the Surplus Property Dispposal Request. Request has been sent back to the Surplus Property Administrator for corrections. The Surplus Property Administrator will receive an email when the document changes to this status.
​DraftThe 'Save' option has been selected. If a request in draft status is not submitted.
​Pending SPA EditsRequest has been returned by SCO to the Surplus Property Administrator to make changes. To request an item be returned, contact SCO.  The Surplus Property Administrator will receive an email when the document changes to this status.
​Submitted for Director Approval​Request has been sent to the director for approval. Director will receive an email when the document changes to this status.

Disposal - ​Draft​14 Days
​Disposal - Disapproved​1 Year after form has been marked as Disapproved
Disposal - ​Approved5 Years after form has been marked as Approved
​Declare - After End Date​5 Years after End Date
