Duplicate Assignments - Permissions

Purpose:  An Agency Maintain User has the option to duplicate an existing user's reports and permission to that of a new or existing user.

Note:  When duplicating an existing user, permissions will be duplicated along with reports if applicable to the agency.

 

To duplicate assignments - permissions:

1. From the Welcome screen, select 'User Maintenance'.

2. From the User Maintenance Menu screen select 'Duplicate Assignments/Permissions'.

3. From the list of employees displayed, select the user to receive assignments/permission by choosing ‘Select’ to the left of the user.  If the user is not displayed in the list they have not been given authority in Online Reporting and will need to be added.

Note:  The expand [+] next to ‘SELECT’ can be selected to display the indicated employees SYSID assignments and authority level.

4.  Once the receiving user has been selected the 'Select user to duplicate' list appears and can be chosen from the dropdown arrow next to 'Duplicate Existing User'.

  • Select Different User – takes you back to the 'Select User to Receive Assignments/Permissions' list where a new user can be selected
  • User Maintenance – takes you back to the 'User Maintenance Menu'

 

5. After the duplicating user has been selected a list of SYSIDS to duplicate will be displayed. 

Note:  Confirm the adding and duplicating users are correct.

 

6.  Select the SYSID(s) to be duplicated to the receiving user in the SYSID list.  Individual SYSID’s can be selected or all SYSID’s can be selected with the check box located in the top selection table.

7.  When all SYSIDS to be duplicated have been indicated select 'DUPLICATE SELECTED'.  The message 'Selected SYSIDs updated' will be displayed.

Note:  When duplicating an existing user, permissions will be duplicated along with reports if applicable to the agency.

8.  The receiving user now has authority and permissions to view reports
