Getting Started in I-Time

The foundation for the I-Time structure is built out of a series of Time Entry Locations (TELs).  In many cases an agency organization chart may reflect how time sheets are routed.

If an agency uses pay locations, this may be another way to establish Time Entry Locations (TELs). Use this link for additional information on TELs.

Name the TELs, identify the approvers and any additional roles.  Determine the relationship between TELs.  Use this link for additional information on I-Time User Roles.

A TEL structure is similar to a pyramid.  Here is an example of a very basic TEL structure.
