II - Inactive Illness (pay status = I)

Purpose: This action allows an agency to inactivate an employee for an Illness reason, without pay. Usually coded to inactivate an employee, while he or she is unable to work. The time sheet required field will be updated to ‘Y’ and the pay status will be changed to ‘I’.
 
Position (pay) status must be equal to A (active) or B (inactive with pay) in order to use this change reason.
