Statewide Descriptor Table D70 Encumbrance Tolerance Limits

The D70 table defines the tolerance limits for payments against encumbrances. The State of Idaho has a zero encumbrance tolerance limit. If needed, STARS can control limits by the beginning letter of the document number.

D70 – Encumbrance Tolerance Limits Data Entry Requirements

TABLE-ID-NUMBER Enter 70.

ENCUMBRANCE TYPE

Enter the one-character encumbrance type. Since you can use any document number in creating an encumbrance, STARS characters A-Z and 0-9 are valid beginning letters.

REFERENCE DATA

MIN TOLERANCE

Enter the four-digit minimum tolerance limit. This should always be 0000, because the State of Idaho has a zero encumbrance tolerance limit.

TOLRNCE %(0.00)

Enter the three-digit percent tolerance - This should always be 0.00.

TITLE Enter the title encumbrance type, up to 50 characters.
