Reports for Budgeting

The STARS reports available in Online Reporting for use on the agency’s legislative budget requests include:

Appropriation information - comes from the Appropriation File (Prior Year and Current Year fields).
Agency receipt information - comes from the Operating File or the General Ledger File under G/L 4100.
Analysis of funds - comes from the Cash Control File and the encumbrance portion either from the Appropriation File, or the Operating or General Ledger Files under G/L 4300.

Agencies are also encouraged to learn about and use IBIS.

Report	Description
DAFR7690 (rounded)	Appropriation Totals by Fund/BU/Obj Shows separate appropriation types but does not show expenditures.
DAFR1160 DAFR8010 (rounded)	Exact Appropriation by Fund/BU/Obj Appropriation Status by Fund/BU/Obj Shows a combined total of all appropriation types including non-cognizable instead of listing them separately. (rounded)
DAFR0209	Available Spending Balance by Fund/BU/Obj Combines the data from the DAFR7690 and DAFR1160. Shows all detail on the Appropriation File.
